Lietuvos jaunučių ir jaunių čempionatuose alytiškiai iškovojo aukso ir bronzos medalius
Savaitgalį vyko Lietuvos jaunučių ir jaunių baidarių polo čempionatai. Šeštadienį vyko Lietuvos jaunučių U-16 čempionatas Dauguose. Varžybose varžėsi sportininkai iki 16 metų, dalyvavo 4 komandos.
Alytaus sporto ir rekreacijos centro (Alytaus SRC) jaunimas lygiosiomis sužaidė su Trakų baidarininkais ir pralaimėjo Kauno „Regesos“ ir Daugų bendraamžiams. Alytiškiai iškovojo bronzos medalius. Kauno baidarininkai tapo 2024 m. Lietuvos jaunučių baidarių polo čempionais, Daugų baidarininkai iškovojo antrąją vietą. Trakų komanda liko ketvirta.
Alytaus komandoje žaidė Oskaras Markauskas, komandos kapitonas Matas Šoliūnas, Gustas Supranavičius, Pijus ir Adrijus Baranauskai, Armandas ir Eilandas Sakalauskai, Nojus Laurinavičius.
Sekmadienį vyko Lietuvos jaunių baidarių polo U-18 čempionatas Kaune. Alytaus SRC jaunimas sėkmingai pradėjo čempionatą. Pirmose rungtynėse alytiškiai iškovojo pergalę prieš Kauno „Regesos“ komandą, antrose rungtynėse nugalėjo Trakų baidarininkus ir trečiose rungtynėse – Daugų baidarininkus bei tapo 2024 m. Lietuvos jaunių U-18 čempionais. Komandoje žaidė komandos kapitonas Marius Čekanauskas, Džiugas Dumbliauskas, Matas Šoliūnas, Oskaras Markauskas, Nojus ir Vakaris Sukackai, Titas Barysas ir Pijus Baranauskas, komandos treneriai Kęstutis Dambrauskas, Karolis Latauskas ir Rimas Sukackas. Antrąją vietą čempionate iškovojo Kauno, trečiąją – Trakų, ketvirtąją – Daugų baidarininkai.
