Alytiškis Vilius Cvirka Lietuvos plaukimo čempionate pasiekė naują Lietuvos rekordą!
Vasario 7–8 d. Druskininkuose įvyko Lietuvos jaunių ir jaunimo plaukimo čempionatas, kuriame dalyvavo ir Alytaus sporto ir rekreacijos centro plaukikai. Čempionate jaunieji talentai pademonstravo puikius rezultatus, iškovojo medalius ir netgi pagerino Lietuvos rekordus savo amžiaus grupėse.
Jaunių grupėje įspūdingai pasirodė alytiškis Vilius Cvirka, kuris sidabrą iškovojo 200 m krūtine rungtyje, o bronzą – 100 m krūtine. Tačiau dar didesnis pasiekimas sportininko laukė estafetės varžybose – kartu su kitais Europos jaunimo olimpinio festivalio rinktinės nariais jis dalyvavo 4×100 m kombinuotoje estafetėje ir pasiekė naują Lietuvos rekordą (amžiaus grupė iki 15 m.).
Jaunimo grupėje Emilis Kiauličius taip pat pelnė aukštą įvertinimą, laimėdamas sidabrą 200 m peteliške rungtyje. Ema Kastsiukovich varžybose demonstravo puikią sportinę formą ir gerino asmeninius rezultatus. Nedaug trūko, kad ji taip pat būtų užlipusi ant prizininkų pakylos.
Visus šiuos talentingus sportininkus treniruoja Alytaus sporto ir rekreacijos centro patyręs treneris Lionginas Kuprys, kurio vadovaujami jaunieji plaukikai tęsia savo tobulėjimą ir siekia vis aukštesnių rezultatų.
