Alytaus sunkiaatlečiai sėkmingai pasirodė Lietuvos čempionato finale Panevėžyje!
Lapkričio 9 d. Panevėžyje vyko Lietuvos suaugusiųjų atskirų veiksmų sunkiosios atletikos čempionato finalinės varžybos.
Jose dalyvavo ir Alytaus sporto centro sportininkai, treniruojami Tado Statkevičiaus.
Svorio kategorijoje iki 65 kg varžėsi Algirdas Abeciūnas.
Rovimo veiksme jam iki trečiosios vietos pritrūko vos vieno kilogramo, tačiau stūmimo veiksme sportininkas iškovojo trečiąją vietą. Bendroje dvikovėje, pagerinęs asmeninį rezultatą, Algirdas taip pat pelnė bronzos medalį.
Svorio kategorijoje iki 71 kg startavęs Anicetas Čeponis buvo nepralenkiamas visose rungtyse.
Pagerinęs asmeninius rezultatus rovimo veiksme ir dvikovėje, sportininkas tapo Lietuvos čempionu.
